Having done some exercises on the description, I have to surrender to the fact that this is my weakest, indeed very weakest point. It is necessary for me then to practice it but following the example of the great writers rather than pursuing it in this do-it-yourself method. I will then select the best descriptions in the history of literature and work on them. I just have to put it on the agenda, which I will do I think next Monday.
Dopo aver fatto alcuni esercizi sulla descrizione, devo arrendermi al fatto che questo è il mio punto più debole, anzi debolissimo. È quindi necessario che mi eserciti, ma seguendo l’esempio dei grandi scrittori, piuttosto che perseguire questo metodo “fai da te”. Selezionerò quindi le migliori descrizioni della storia della letteratura e lavorerò su di esse. Devo solo metterlo in agenda, cosa che farò credo lunedì prossimo.
